Oh no!  My favorite celebrity got hacked on Twitter!

Today we are looking at the Twitter hack that just happened on July 15th.  It was an organized attack on employees of Twitter that had access to secure systems and data.

In this video we explain what the hackers were attempting to do while also educating what you can do to make sure you don’t succumb to this sort of scam yourself.

The scammers used famous celebrity and politician Twitter accounts to request followers to send Bitcoin, a cryptocurrency, to an address in the tweet.  In exchange, they would send back double the amount the follower would send back.  It’s worth noting, if anyone every guarantees you to double your money for free, there is usually a catch!
